Krou specialises in abstract electronica with a heavy surreal twist, and this piece would sit perfectly in a David Lynch movie. If you appreciate unnatural soundscapes then be sure to have a listen - it sounds truly exceptional. Things come in and out of focus and momentarily have you think you know what's going on, only to then disappear off into the mist again. At the end, when the drugs wear off, things become a bit more recognisable and you can almost make out a tune, albeit a bit of a blurry one. A blend of melodic soul, funk, urban breaks and quirky synths, Commuter will be making an appearance in Miami during the Winter Music Conference 2005, showcasing a 3 track sampler disc.
